New Release Includes Tax Changes Announced in Chancellor’s Budget, Tax Bands and Allowances Updated to 2009/10 Levels
A new release of Voyant Adviser is now available with tax bands and allowances updated to 2009/10 levels.
Voyant Adviser now also includes all of the major tax changes announced in the Chancellor’s Budget on 22nd April, including:
- Introduction of the 50% rate on taxable income above £150,000 from April 2010;
- Phasing out of the Personal Allowance on incomes above £100,000 from April 2010;
- Restriction of tax relief on Pension contributions on earnings above £150,000 from April 2011;
- Freeze in the level of the Lifetime Allowance at £1,800,000 for 5 years from 2010/11 to 2015/16.
These new tax rules will go into effect immediately once the latest release of the software is installed.
How to Receive the Latest Release of Voyant Adviser
Simply open Voyant Adviser on any computer with a connection to the internet. A check is always made for updates whenever Voyant is first opened. If a newer release of the software is available, as one now is, it will be downloaded and installed automatically on your computer.
