A Change Of Direction
In 2016, I took the plunge and became a Voyant User. I’d heard of Voyant and had seen it in action over the years, but I had never taken my occasional perusal further. Ultimately, I decided I wanted Voyant to help me enhance the client experience I provide and build long-lasting relationships.
Since 2016, we have been proud users of Voyant, primarily because of the value it adds to our client relationships. Many of us are visual learners, and Voyant plays a crucial role in creating a vision for our clients to invest in.
After the UK shut down due to COVID, I had time to reflect on our work, attend webinars, and learn. In one webinar, a colleague was talking about the power of goal based financial planning, my initial thoughts were: well, that’s what we do.
The more I listened, the more I questioned: Weren’t we using Voyant enough with our clients? The truth is I use it often, but I could use it more. My vision for our business changed during lockdown. Now, in my view, there is no excuse not to use Voyant. Why invest without goals? Why see a financial adviser who can’t help you visualize your future with them?
New clients have come to us in recent weeks, excited for their futures. When they see the real value we can add through their plans, they are excited, and we all need that right now, don’t we?
2020 will be an essential year for Pape Wealth Management, and I believe it will take our client experience to another level. As Epictetus said, Make the best use of what is in your power, and take the rest as it happens.
Rather than worrying about what new technology we are not using I have decided to make better use of the technology we already have.
